Printer — Smart Print
Terms & Conditions
The short version
- Printer Pro renews automatically until you cancel it, and you cancel it in your Apple Account settings — not in the app.
- The 3-day free trial is offered once per subscription group. If you already used it, you will be charged from the start.
- Your documents are yours. We never see them and claim nothing over them.
- Printing depends on your printer and your network, so we cannot promise every printer will work.
These terms are an agreement between you and Cheese Quake LLC (“we”, “us”) about your use of the iOS app Printer — Smart Print (the “app”). By downloading or using the app, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.
1. Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, sell or sublicense the app, reverse engineer it except where law expressly allows, or remove any notices from it.
2. Printer Pro subscriptions
Plans
Printer Pro unlocks unlimited prints and scans, the Pro tools, and printing without watermarks. It is offered as two auto-renewing plans, billed weekly or annually. Current prices are always the ones shown in the app before you confirm, in your local currency, and are set through the App Store.
Free trial
Both plans currently include a 3-day free trial. The trial is offered once per subscription group per Apple Account — so if you have already used it on either plan, you will not be offered it again, and the app will say so before you buy. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription automatically and the first period is charged.
Renewal and cancellation
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before that period ends. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
You manage and cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings — Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or through the “Manage subscription” link in the app, which takes you to the same place. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Payment and refunds
All payments are processed by Apple. We never receive or hold your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policy; we cannot issue them ourselves, but if something has gone wrong, write to us and we will help you make the case.
Price changes
If a price changes, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent before a renewal at the new price, as required by the App Store.
3. Your content
Everything you scan, import, write or print stays yours. The app stores it only on your device; we have no access to it and claim no rights over it. You are responsible for having the right to print, copy or share whatever you put through the app — including documents that belong to someone else, and material protected by copyright.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe someone else’s rights, to produce forged or deceptive documents, or to interfere with printers or networks you are not entitled to use. Do not attempt to bypass the subscription or the App Store purchase flow.
5. Printing, printers and networks
The app prints through Apple’s AirPrint system to printers you choose on your own network. Whether a given printer works, and how its output looks, depends on that printer, its firmware and your network — none of which we control. We make no promise that every printer will be found or will print correctly, and we are not responsible for paper, ink or toner consumed by a print job.
6. Websites you open in the app
The “Web page” feature loads an address you type so it can be printed. We do not operate, endorse or control those sites, and their content and privacy practices are their own.
7. Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. We will not knowingly remove a feature you are currently paying for without making that clear; if we discontinue Printer Pro altogether, Apple’s refund and cancellation rules will apply to any period you have already paid for.
8. Disclaimer
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will preserve your documents — keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits or lost business, arising out of your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it — remembering to cancel any subscription separately. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms.
11. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, or consumer protection claims, nor for any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and material changes will be noted in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
