Print from iPhone. It just works now.
Printing from a phone should take one tap. Instead, it often means downloading the printer maker’s app, creating an account, and hoping the printer shows up. Printer exists to skip all of that.
What we believe
- No account, ever. You shouldn’t need to sign up to print a boarding pass. Printer has no login and no user accounts.
- Your documents are none of our business. Scans, files, notes and lists stay on your iPhone. Print jobs go over your own Wi-Fi straight to the printer. Read the privacy policy — it’s short and plain.
- Honest about what works. Printer prints through Apple’s AirPrint. Most Wi-Fi printers support it, but not all. We built a free AirPrint checker so you can find out before you download, not after.
- Native and light. Printer follows Apple’s design guidelines and stays small, fast and calm.
About this website
Besides the app, getprinter.app is a free library of guides for printing from iPhone: setup for each printer brand, fixes for common errors, and tools such as a printer test page. Each guide says which iOS versions it was written for and when it was last updated. Guides are reviewed after every major iOS release, and when a guide has been re-tested on real hardware, it names the iPhone, the printer and the date.
We mention HP, Epson, Canon, Brother and other brands only to describe compatibility. Printer isn’t affiliated with any printer maker, and when a brand’s own app is the better tool for a job, we say so.
